Standing high over the Pitthoragarh nestle in Uttarakhand, the pinnacles of Panchachuli designed parallel each other flawlessly in their size and shape. The name Panchachuli generally signifies 'Five Peaks.' According to the folk tale, the Legend Pandavas of Mahabharata prepared their last surviving meal there, before they commence their final journey towards Heaven. One the way to Panchachuli Base Camp, Dharma valley is honoured with the magnificence beauty. Snow-capped peaks and the narrow streams surround you along the way is nothing less than erotic scenery flawlessly make it the worth trail.
The region is richly abundance of vegetation and creature life. In the honour of trekkers, the area separates through Gori Ganga and Darma valleys on either side, the Panchachuli trek opens up vistas that treat your eyes and hearts with pleasure.

The Panchachuli tops are a gathering of five snow-topped Himalayan pinnacles lying toward the finish of the eastern Kumaon locale, close to Dugtu Village Darma valley, Beholding the beauty of Panchachuli top like you are the lap of the Panchchuli, and Munsiari, in Pithoragarh region, Uttarakhand state, India. The pinnacles have elevations going from 20,781 Ft. to 22,651Ft.


Distance from Dharchula to Panchachuli Base Camp

Kathgodam from where the journey towards Panchachuli trek will start, it is 9 hrs journey from Kathgodam to Dharchula that covers nearly 290 Km distance, early Dharchula was a primary trade route between India & Nepal too. From to Dharchula to Dar is 3 hrs drive which includes almost 100 Km distance, and from Dar to Urthing it’s a 3 to 4 hrs walk that entirely depends on one’s capacity that how much footsteps one can cover in how much time, Further steps from Urthing to Panchachuli base camp entirely depend on the trekkers footsteps again.

Average Temperature of Panchachuli Base Camp

Panchachuli Base Camp is settled in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand in Himalaya range; the area is well loved and pampered by people for its weather and best season as it is rested in the lap of Himalayas. The climate of mountains has vast difference than the environment in the city, the average temperature of Panchachuli Base camp from April to November is around 10 degree Celsius in the night, which changes its colour totally in December till March and turns in minus degree.


Majestic Panchachuli Peaks:-

a.    Panchachuli Peak 1:- (1937 Ft.)

The first climb of this pinnacle was finished by the Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP) group in 1972. The directions of this pinnacle are Latitude 30°13'12" Longitude 80° 25'12.

b.   Panchachuli  Peak 2:- (2104 Ft.)

 The highest top in the gathering and the highest pinnacle lying entirely in the Kumaon district. The coordinates of the peak are Latitude 30°12'51" Longitude 80°25'39".

c.    Panchachuli  Peak 3:- (1923 Ft.)

This peak has been not climbed; there have been a few expeditions and attempts. The coordinates of this peak are Latitude 30°12'00" Longitude 80°26'24".

d.   Panchachuli  Peak 4:- (1930 Ft.)

Panchchuli Peaks, from near Munsiyari, Uttarakhand. The coordinates of this peak are Latitude 30°11'24" Longitude 80°27'00".

e.   Panchachuli  Peak 5:- (1961 Ft.)

The coordinates of this peak are Latitude 30°10'48" Longitude 80°28'12".
