I am euphoria to share the beauty of the valley of flowers, and once again regaining the experience of how refined this trek is.Valley of Flowers is the bewitching spot, positioned in Uttarakhand in Chamoli district at the high elevation of 12,100 Ft. from sea level.
There is no denying that Uttarakhand is a bucket of ample of
treks, where the valley of flowers is one amongst them, there is a short tale
of how the canyon was discovered.
It was found in 1931 by three mountaineers Frank S. Smythe,
Eric Shipton and R.L. Holdsworth, the well-known mountaineers lost there where
while coming from Mt. Kamat. And put up into the strange cum exotic place
enveloped by the floras at each corner their eyes can reach too.
Frank Smythe also wrote a book about Valley of Flowers too,
and now you can imagine how enthusiastic the place is that the man jolts down
its beauty in the book itself.
Valley of flower is an inhabitation for about 600 species of
flowers and more and is tagged with the status of National park along with the
UNESCO world heritage site.
Valley of Flowers - Best Summer Trek
How
to Get There?
Floral
and Creature diversity
Passionate trekkers once wants to trek to valley of flowers,
the floral paint of the valley is like a diamond and sets four moons, not in
the district, but in the entire country as it is the beauty of fairy tale, the
variation of colours in the whole trek can make any trekker an artist.
I must say, the valley of flower is itself an art on the
canvas of nature; it has the considerable variation in species you get the
glimpse of, talking about the floral diversity so it involves Euphorbia pilosa,
Himalayan Slipper Orchid, Iris kaemaonensis, aconites and rhododendrons.
The place also gonna delight you with the creatures like snow
leopard the king of the valley, and deer’s as Musk deer, Sambar and Blue
mountains sheep, Himalayan Tahr.
Though you should be lucky enough to witness each of them and
I must say you are so that you will find at least one of them.
Realm’s
Richness - valley of flowers
Valley of flowers is a hanging valley of Pushpawati River one
of the tributaries of Alaknanda River, the guarded peaks that wraps the valley
and make it a best sight scenic beauty are
Dunagiri, Rishi Parvat, Kalanka, Nanda Khat, Nanda Devi East, Nilgiri
Parvat, Rataban, Gauri Parvat, Saptasring and Nanda Devi are prominent among
them.
The crystalline rocks compose the valley reflects the sharp
shine as involves quartz and mica.
I
Would Now Categorize the Entire Area in 3 Parts Such As:
73% of the valley area is snow covered the entire year as the
area is glaciated, so always wrapped up in the heavy snow.
6% area where, is covered by the Coniferous forests and the
remaining area is enveloped with the mixed alpine forest, involves Pindrow fir,
Himalayan yew, Himalayan maple, deodars, silver birch, oak and Morinda spruce
trees.
So
When You Can Trek there?
The valley stays snowbound most of the months in the year,
but the snow start to melt by the end of the May, so till September the gates
open for the trekkers to visit there, and most impressive is if you will be
able to visit it earlier or later in September you will be able to see where
the valley ends, and glaciated zone starts.
One more thing to keep in mind that does not strictly pollute
the valley do not throw the garbage or any waste carelessly into the valley let
the beauty remain the beauty do not destroy it by the cruelty of your humanity.
